srdjan@google.com 4bb01949bc Fix to allocation stub invalidation: we cannot just remove it as it will be collected even though code still may reference it. Since we should probably have two different allocation stubs, keep two in the class and switch between them. Future work will put intelligence in the allocation stub selection. Added Daniel's test flag & code.

lrn@google.com 3b13f62170 Remove addLast from List. 
The List.addLast method has been deprecated for quite a while.
A recent change removed it from the interface, but left the
implementation in place (which caused some errors from the analyzer).
This removes it completely.

lrn@google.com 844cd39fad Change getRange to sublist. Make getRange deprecated. 
This changes the exception behavior of getRange. It used to accept
a length of zero, no matter what start value. Now the start value
must be a valid list index.

Until now we only optimize the [] operator, but don't have a
fast path for polymorphic invocations of [] on byte arrays.

I also added additional test coverage for Uint8Clamped list.

fschneider@google.com 7fc8f72c25 Inline getters of byte array view in the optimized flow graph. 
This CL provides inline IL code for the getters _getInt8, _getInt16, etc.
to speed up [] and byte array views.

The code uses the existing LoadIndexed instructions by passing a index
scale factor explicitly: For normal arrays loads, the scale factor is equal
to the element size. For byte array access, the scale factor is always 1.

I'm adding inlined setters in a separate CL.

ager@google.com e676e88f81 Introduce a VM-only dart:scalarlist library for byte arrays. 
Include it in the SDK so users can use it. Create a dummy
implementation and patch file for the library for dart2js so it can be
documented. Johnni, can you think of a nicer way of making
documentation generation work for a VM only library? Also, it seems that
patching kills the documentation comments and they do not show up in
the generated docs.

cshapiro@google.com 00b6963338 Fix some warnings in the core library identified by the static analyzer. 
This foray uncovered a latent bug in the byte array view constructor and
its use of default arguments.  That bug has been corrected and new tests
have been added to the test suite.

Internal and external representations of each array are provided.  A
single interface type implementing the ByteArray and List interfaces
