Paul Berry 7e4e0326d7 Bump web packages to language version 3.12.
This CL is part of an effort to bump the SDK requirement to `3.12.0-0`
for all the packages in `pkg` that are not published to `pub`, so that
we can get better testing of the "private named parameters" feature.

(Packages that *are* published to `pub` can't be safely bumped yet,
because SDK 3.12 hasn't been released, and I don't want to block those
packages' ability to publish useful updates to customers.)

This change covers the following packages, which are owned by
OWNERS_WEB:
- pkg/_js_interop_checks/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/compiler/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/dart2js_info/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/dart2js_runtime_metrics/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/dart2js_tools/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/dev_compiler/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/js_ast/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/js_runtime/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/js_shared/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/modular_test/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/node_preamble/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/reload_test/pubspec.yaml
- pkg/sourcemap_testing/pubspec.yaml

Changes to `pubspec.yaml` files were made manually.

Changes to `.dart` files were made automatically (with a few
exceptions), using `dart fix` to migrate to using private named
parameters where it is possible to do so without changing
semantics. Note that this migration is conservative; see
https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/58607 for details.

The exceptions are:
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/DataSource.dart
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/Views.dart
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/swarm_ui_lib/layout/GridLayout.dart
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/swarm_ui_lib/touch/ClickBuster.dart
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/swarm_ui_lib/touch/Scrollbar.dart
- pkg/compiler/test/codesize/swarm/swarm_ui_lib/touch/Scroller.dart
- pkg/dev_compiler/test/sourcemap/testfiles/next_through_is_and_as_test.dart

For these files, there was no need to migrate to using private named
parameters, however the language version bump caused flow analysis to
improve, so some additional dead code was detected that hadn't been
detected previously. I reasoned that it's better to minimize changes
to testcases, so rather than deleting the dead code, I just added
`ignore` comments to prevent the bots from failing.

Nate Biggs 8bd3690ab0 Reland "[ddc] Update DDC compiler to start using the new async transform."
This is a reland of commit d84f908641

Includes fixes:
--- Catch scope fix ---
Each catch block should define its own scope, but the compiler was not treating the body of these catch blocks as a scope. This was leading to incorrect variable renaming.

--- Duplicate label fix ---
Labels weren't being removed from the _labelNames Map after being used so multiple nodes were getting tagged with the same label. Note: This didn't actually cause any bugs because the label closer to the break statements using those labels was the correct one.

--- addAsyncCallback cleanup ---
The new async semantics actually don't require managing addAsyncCallback and removeAsyncCallback calls (proxies for async_helper.asyncStart and async_helper.asyncEnd). None of the other backends manage these themselves. It's up to tests to ensure they call async_helper.asyncStart and async_helper.asyncEnd.

Original change's description:

Nate Biggs d84f908641 [ddc] Update DDC compiler to start using the new async transform.
Updates compiler.dart to use the new async transformation.

Some key things to note:
- Dart Let and BlockExpression expressions are represented as IIFEs in DDC compiled code. For non-async code this works fine but this doesn't work when they contain "await" expressions. When these expressions contain awaits we use the same lowering as we would for an async function, but instead apply it to the IIFE function. Then we simply await the IIFE Call expression as the IIFE will return a future after the transform.
- For async/sync*/async* functions we want to make sure parameter initialization happens synchronously before any of the async logic is hit. To do this we first apply the async transform the user-code function body. We then prepend the paramter initialization logic to the body of the transformed function.
- We add support for JS_RAW_EXCEPTION which allows the machinery in async_patch to access the wrapped JS exception in a catch block rather than the unwrapped Dart exception.
- Stacktraces and sourcemaps have some differences. There is still room for improvement in these but they should at least allow users to reasonably step through parts of the async code.

There are also several test fixes/updates associated with this change. The test_runner wrapper no longer has to inject in asyncStart/asyncEnd calls, these are handled by the new async logic.

Nicholas Shahan 1a0dd104d4 [ddc] Update some sourcemap locations
* Add special handling for String concatenations so the first string
gets mapped correctly and work better in sound null safety.
* Update variable assignments to more consistently point to helpful
locations, specifically when lowered from a prefix increment like
  `++x`.
* Run the sourcemap and stacktrace test suites with sound null safety.

Previously these suites were running with unsound null safety so more
operations were wrapped in function calls to check for null. Those calls
allowed for mode step or break points that hid some of the issues
addressed in this change.

Jens Johansen 2bd74882e2 [package:testing] Various updates
* Delete unused stuff
 * rename 'path' to 'root'
 * accept 'includeEndsWith' as a plain text string so we often can avoid
   using regexp
 * accept 'subRoots' to filter to directories faster and more precisly
than when using regexps in 'pattern'
 * make 'list' async instead of async* (no more yield stuff which we
promptly turn into a list when actually using it)

Note that some changes in testing.json is not 100% semantic-preserving,
e.g. the "parser_all" suite previously had a pattern "/tests/.*\\.dart$"
which was probably meant to include all dart files in the "tests" folder
in the root, but in fact included all dart files in a "tests" folder
anywhere. The updated version does not.

Nicholas Shahan 8ff5176a77 [ddc] Avoid source maps on logical Not operator
Adding explicit source maps to the operator created a breakable location
when viewing source-mapped dart code in chrome devtools. There isn't a
breakable point in the javascript for a `!` operator so trying to enable
the breakpoint visible in the dart code would trigger some "other
breakpoint".

Recent changes in the V8 debugger have changed which "other breakpoint"
would be triggered.
https://chromium.googlesource.com/v8/v8/+/16b0767adc54de6e0154a0a8226e01efecfdbfbb

This causes our tests to fail and makes the user
interaction a little confusing. Removing the extra source map here seems
to be the most reasonable solution because it prevents a possible
breakpoint from appearing where there isn't a breakable location.

Now, the ! operator doesn't introduce any new source mapping it simply
continues the previous mapping.

The compile_platform template assumes that the output will be in the root-out-dir, and because of that the generated .deps file contains relative paths that only work if the output is in that folder.

It would be nice to fix compile_platform to be more flexible about this, but for now moving the output up fixes the issue that modifications in the sdk were not triggering a rebuild.

Mark Zhou dbabe4dea6 [dartdevc] Imports/Exports are now aliased relative to the library root to disambiguate cross-module name conflicts.
Note: Changes in this CL will require some google3 changes (mostly in code related to test entrypoints).

We encountered an issue whereby cross-module programs importing files
with the same name (but separate identities/locations) were being
overridden throughout all of DDK's module builders. For example, a
module importing "x.dart" and "y/x.dart" would export {x: x, x: x$} -
the latter renamed module shadowing the first. DDC handles this by
prepending a formatted module-root-relative identifier string, so
"y/x.dart" becomes something like y__x, and the export becomes {x: x,
y__x: y__x}. However, this results in some code bloat, especially as
paths become deeply nested. More importantly, the $-renaming scheme is
not consistent across modules. Were we to export x$ instead of x, how
would the importing library know whether x or x$ referred to "y/x.dart"?

To have the best of both worlds, we're introducing the concept of a
module alias that exists at the boundary of module imports and exports.
We use this module-root-relative alias to differentiate modules with the
same name but use the shorter $-renaming scheme throughout the generated
code. Relevant points:

1) jsLibraryAlias has been introduced alongside jsLibraryName.
jsLibraryName no longer must be unique - that property having been
transferred to the alias. DDK no longer just outputs pathSegments.last,
instead adopting DDC's scheme of "creating" a special alias from the
module root. jsLibraryName's temporary IDs are renamed using the
existing DDK scheme.

2) Libraries are now associated with NameSpecifiers. The name and asName
fields represent jsName and jsAlias, respectively, for exports
(vice-versa for imports).

3) The test frameworks have been taking advantage of DDK's previous
naming scheme (throwing way the module root, keeping just the name). A
common pattern is to expect DDK's output symbol to be "someexport", then
forcing DDC's output (normally "some__path__someexport") to resemble
that with the deprecated "library-root" flag set to the path of the
output JS file. We resolve this by updating the scaffolding code to look
for the module-root-relative (long) name, which requires a bunch of
path-to-identifier subsitution logic. The "absoluteRoot" bool in the
sourcemap test runner is a way to reenable this DDC-specific deprecated
behavior. The test runner now requires this alias in the html generator.

Robert Nystrom 99e8a9fba5 Move the test runner (i.e. "test.dart"/"test.py") to pkg/.
This makes it an actual Pub package like most other code inside the SDK
repo. The main goal is to make it easier to write tests for the test
runner itself.

This change:

- Moves all of the code from tools/testing/dart/ over to
pkg/test_runner. Most of it ends up under test_runner/lib/src.

- Move tools/testing/dart/main.dart to
  pkg/test_runner/bin/test_runner.dart.

- Move standalone_2/io/test_runner_test.dart to
  pkg/test_runner/test/test_runner_test.dart. I don't think it currently
works, but it wasn't being run in its old location either.

- Add test_runner to the analysis-server bot. This ensures the
test_runner package is static error clean.

- Remove standalone_2/io/test_runner_analyze_test.dart which used to
attempt to do the above and is no longer needed.

- Update test.py to look for the test runner at its new location.

- Add test_runner to the repo .packages file and remove the weird
  test_dart pseudo-package. (I think this fixes #35279.)

- Remove status file entries for the removed standalone_2 tests.

There are no code changes to the test runner itself aside from fixing
up import paths.
