Danny Tuppeny fadf8a0959 [analysis_server] Support LSP executeCommand over DTD to support code actions
There are a few things in this CL that were difficult to separate testing of (because they're all part of the same feature):

1. sets `requiresTrustedCaller=false` on the `executeCommand` handler so that commands can be called over DTD. It adds the same flag to the command handlers themselves, so a command can control whether it can be called over DTD or not (right now we allow everything except `logAction` and `sendWorkspaceEdit` which are both commands used internally and not appropriate for DTD clients to call).

2. Removes the allow-list on DTD methods, allowing all LSP shared methods to be available over DTD

3. Extends the integration test classes to support reverse-requests so we can verify the edits being sent back to the editor when calling the code actions commands over DTD

4. It also fixes a few bugs where we read the callers capabilities instead of the editors capabilities (which until now would always be the same in those places, but with this change are not).

Danny Tuppeny d5b82a3ecd [analysis_server] Create a wrapper to allow LSP helpers to be used over DTD
A minor refactor towards supporting CodeActions over DTD.

The (existing) `LspRequestHelpersMixin` is a collection of helper methods like `getHover()` that allow sharing strongly-typed access to LSP methods across different kinds of tests (LSP, LSP-over-Legacy, and in-process vs out-of-process).

This adds a class (`DtdHelper`) that allows those same helpers to be used to call LSP over DTD (it has to be a separate instance because these helpers already exist on the base test classes to communicate with the server directly without DTD).

As part of this, the mixin was split up to separate request, reverse-requests and notifications, since only outbound requests apply over DTD and it cannot provide an implementation for the others.

This change also adds `textDocument/hover` to the allow-list so that some of these tests can be unskipped (since in an upcoming change the allow-list will be removed entirely anyway).

Danny Tuppeny fe43c00880 [analysis_server] Add document version support for the legacy server
This adds an optional version number to AddContentOverlay and UpdateContentOverlay in the legacy protocol.

It also moves some code (such as the `Map` that stores the current document versions) from the LSP server into the base class, and updates the overlay handlers to update it.

And finally, it removes the FailingTest() annotations on the versioned EditArguments test since they now work.

Danny Tuppeny 4f3a672b00 [analysis_server] Add a CodeAction typedef for CodeActionLiteral | Command
Following on from a previous change to use the term `CodeAction` (an item returned from a `textDocument/codeAction` request) to mean either a `CodeActionLiteral` (which contains inline edits and/or a command) or a base `Command`, this adds a typedef describing the same and updates all code that used `Either2<CodeActionLiteral, Command>` to instead use the typedef.

It also renames a few additional methods/functions to be more consistent with these terms and adds a `CodeActionExtension` to simplify extracting fields like `command` and `title` from either kind of code action.

Brian Wilkerson d85ab6df0c Refactor the MessageSchedulerTestView for more flexibility
There are no functional changes, just changes to the way the logging
functionality is implemented. The motivation for the changes is to
allow future CLs to explore ways of changing the expectations so that
async handling of messages won't produce flaky tests.

All references to the 'messageLog' outside the class have been replaced
by higher-level methods with a semantic meaning.

The class has been split into an interface and an implementation, which
allows the test-specific aspects to be in the `test` directory.

Some additional code cleanup was also done.

Brian Wilkerson 5b7fb2e8e8 Move and split the message scheduler
This CL makes three changes:
- moves the message scheduler into a new directory,
- splits the implementation into two files,
- and renames `MessageObject` to `ScheduledMessage`.

It does not make any semantic changes to the code.

The expectation is that we will need to make the message scheduler more
complex as part of improving the performance of the server, and that it
will be easier to do this if the code is structured differently.

When running tests from source (by setting the `TEST_SERVER_SNAPSHOT` env variable to `"false"`), we used `Platform.script` to locate the server script, however this fails when running the test through `dart test` (see https://github.com/dart-lang/test/issues/110).

This changes to using `Isolate.resolvePackageUri` to locate the root instead.

Fixes at least some of https://github.com/Dart-Code/Dart-Code/issues/5471.

Robert Nystrom 732b07a42b Roll dart_style into the SDK.
I'm still chasing down a couple of google3 failures, but this is ready for review so that I can get it approved and land it once the last couple of failures are fixed. Here is who I think should review what:

athom@ for:

- DEPS

johnniwinther@ for:

- pkg/_fe_analyzer_shared
- pkg/front_end
- pkg/kernel

brianwilkerson@ for:

- pkg/analysis_server
- pkg/analyzer_plugin
- pkg/analyzer_utilities

kenzieschmoll@ for:

- pkg/dartdev

pquitslund@ for:

- pkg/linter/lib/src/lint_codes.g.dart

If you're not the right person, feel free to summon someone else.

Most of the changes here are re-running code generators that auto-format the code they generate. The changes are:

Roll in the latest dart_style commit:

- DEPS

Manually updated these test expectations to expect the new style:

- pkg/analysis_server/test/lsp/format_test.dart
- pkg/analysis_server/test/services/refactoring/agnostic/change_method_signature_test.dart
- pkg/analysis_server/test/src/domains/flutter/set_property_value_test.dart

- pkg/analysis_server/test/src/services/flutter/widget_descriptions_test.dart
- pkg/analysis_server/test/src/services/refactoring/convert_selected_formal_parameters_to_named_test.dart
- pkg/analysis_server/test/src/services/refactoring/move_selected_formal_parameters_left_test.dart

This was auto-generated by something, but I'm not sure why it thinks there is a diff:

- pkg/analyzer_plugin/doc/api.html

Updated to require a version of dart_style that accepts a language version in DartFormatter():

- pkg/analyzer_plugin/pubspec.yaml

Updated to always use the latest language version (and thus new style) when invoking the formatter:

- pkg/analyzer_utilities/lib/tools.dart

Manually updated the formatting in the code templates so that they matched the formatting expected by the tests, which implicitly format using the latest language version:

- pkg/dartdev/lib/src/templates/...

The rest are all generated files that are formatted so re-generated using the new style:

- pkg/_fe_analyzer_shared/lib/src/experiments/flags.dart
- pkg/_fe_analyzer_shared/lib/src/messages/codes_generated.dart
- pkg/analysis_server_client/lib/handler/notification_handler.dart

Danny Tuppeny 75d15bbfa3 [analysis_server] Support formatter page width from analysis_options in legacy protocol
This adds the same support previously added to LSP to the legacy protocol.

As with LSP, the value in analysis_options overrides the explicit argument (since the expectation is that the user has not specifically chosen this value for this file, but rather as a default for the project/globally).

See https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/56864

[analyzer] Add support for "formatter" in analysis_options + use page_width in LSP

This adds support for validation + completion for `formatter/page_width` in analysis_options, and uses this value in preference to the client-supplied value in the LSP server.

It does not yet add support for the legacy protocol, and there are a few questions in https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/56864#issuecomment-2399289974.

Danny Tuppeny da414c2957 [analysis_server] Allow passing a DTD URI to the analysis server so it can provide LSP functionality to DTD clients
This adds a new request `dart/connectToDtd` that lets a client pass a DTD URI to the server. The server will connect to DTD and provide a subset of LSP methods (those that are currently available over LSP-Over-Legacy, minus the `connectToDtd` method itself) to DTD clients.

This works for both LSP and Legacy servers, and the shared tests run against both (where for legacy, the `dart/connectToDtd` request uses the LSP-over-Legacy support).

This is not currently behind a flag, however it won't do much on its own because no clients will make this request. Once we're happy the functioanlity is good we can either agree an SDK version number for IDEs to gate calling this method on, or we can expose a flag in server capabilities (and some equiv for legacy) so the client knows the functionality is available.

This avoids accidentally using the converter when talking to plugins, (at least for now) URIs are never expected, and file paths should always be used regardless of which mode the server is in.

This unfortunately touches a _lot_ of code, so I've pushed in many separate patch sets to Gerrit.
