Patchset 1 reverts commit f3aaf8a770 as it will
present problems in other embedders which will have to deal with is_profile argument.

Patchset 2 fixes the build by switching from is_product to dart_runtime_mode

Aart Bik e64bd9a01a [vm/compiler] Fix incorrect labeling of stack slots
Rationale:
The "unoptimized code" representation is really a stack
machine that pushes and pops arguments. The intermediate
representation did not show the correct labeling for
"temporaries", in particular around push arguments.
This CL fixes that bug, making the human readable form
of the intermediate much easier to understand. Also,
it allows for proper stack depth computations.

First use:
Sharpen condition on OSR points a bit.
Simple control flow collections will now allow OSR.

This helper class can be used for building IL in SSA form. It was
previously used to build intrinsic IL, but it can also be used to
build IL for tests.

This move required introducing a constant that describes offset
of the last parameter from SP value on entry (kLastParamFrom

This CL also changes the meaning of ParameterInstr(index, SPREG) to be
[SP + index + kLastParamSlotFromEntrySp], where previously it was
something like [SP + (index - 1) + kLastParamSlotFromEntrySp].

Ben Konyi debd918696 Reland "Temporary revert of two changes which potentially caused performance regressions in Flutter."
This is a reland of 49c94d3600

It appears that the major regressions were introduced not by the typed data unification
changes but rather by 3fd124db1f "[vm] Repair the resolver abstraction." which got
reverted in e979895efb "Revert "[vm] Repair the resolver abstraction."

Martin Kustermann a062221b76 [vm] Re-number class ids for internal/external typed data and typed data views
Currently internal cids for all element sizes are packed together, so
are external cids and view cids.

This change re-orders them to make internal/external/view for the same
element size be packed together.

This allows is/as checks for those classes to be performed with
continuous cid-range check. For example "<obj> is Uint8List" becomes
one range check.

(For most applications internal/external/view classes are the only
non-abstract implementations of those interfaces)

Martin Kustermann 94362f1af0 [vm] Unify internal/external/view typed data into new RawTypedDataBase class
This moves the length field as well as an inner pointer to the start of
the data into the RawTypedDataBase class. The inner pointer is updated
on allocation, scavenges and old space compactions.

To avoid writing more assembly the typed data view factory constructors
will be generated using IL, which will update the inner pointer. This
required adding new IR instructions and changing the existing
UnboxedIntConverter instruction.

This is the foundation work to de-virtualize calls on the public typed
data types, e.g. Uint8List.

Martin Kustermann c185945507 [vm/aot] Ensure global object pool is relocated by compactor and reloaded when returning from natives
When the compactor moves the global object pool the pointer in Thread
was not updated because it was in a macro list which can only hold
objects inside the read-only VM isolate.

All calls into dart need to populate PP as well as all calls returning
from C++ need to restore PP. There was a missing case where we return
from natives and don't restore PP (i.e. not normal runtime calls).

This started to be an issue after we started moving old space objects.

Vyacheslav Egorov d23909802e [vm/compiler] Eliminate dead CatchBlockEntry Parameter-s
Parameter instructions inside CatchBlockEntry's initial definitions
are similar to Phi instructions: Parameter value at entry to the
catch would be taken from corresponding slot in the environment
attached to the instruction which threw the exception which is
being caught.

Thus similarly to Phi-s Parameter instructions can be redundant (if they
always evaluate to the same value - no matter where control arrives
from) or dead (if their value never reaches real instruction).

We already had an analysis to discover subset of redundant Parameter-s
which always evaluate to a constant value.

This CL introduces analysis to eliminate dead Parameter-s.

This should significantly reduce size of metadata generated for try/catch
and reduce spilling within functions with try/catch.

On Flutter Gallery: reduces Isolate part of snapshot by 15k (0.7%), Instructions
part is reduced by 2.7K (0.06%).

Michael Powell dfcc52f909 [vm/dart:io/fuchsia] Improve fdio_pipe_half signature, step 2.
The return value on fdio_pipe_half conflated two things: the error code
on failure (as a zx_status_t) or a file descriptor on success. This
technically worked, because they're both ints, the error code was always
negative, and the file descriptor always positive. However, the stated
return type of zx_status_t was misleading. This changes the signature
such that it always returns an actual zx_status_t, and the file
descriptor is returned through a pointer argument.

Also remove the last argument, since it was always given the same value.

This needs to be done as a soft transition because it's called from the
Dart runtime. The steps are as follows:
1. Add fdio_pipe_half2 with the new signature.
2. Update the Dart runtime to call fdio_pipe_half2.
3. Change fdio_pipe_half to be identical to fdio_pipe_half2.
4. Update the Dart runtime to call the updated fdio_pipe_half.
5. Delete fdio_pipe_half2.

This is step 2.

Aart Bik f29e100f42 [dart/fuzzer] Generate DartFuzz API tables automatically
Rationale:
Rather than manually constructing the API tables for DartFuzz,
this introduces a utility to generate API tables based on
the analyzer traversal of common libraries. The utility
recognizes DartTypes that are currently understood by DartFuzz
and constructs the tables organized by return type.

TBD:
DartFuzz's type system is rather simple; as this improves,
more and more methods will be accepted by the utility,
thereby increasing fuzzing coverage of our libraries.

Alexander Markov 61f0f5bc43 [vm/bytecode] Declare members in bytecode
This change replaces kernel AST declarations of fields and functions
with bytecode declarations.

Size of dilp files is reduced by 11-12%.

Startup latency:
Time to the first full frame: 1.945s -> 1.687s
FinalizeClass: 554ms -> 277ms
FinishClassLoading: 296ms -> 156ms

There are following regressions in bytecode mode, which will be fixed
in future:

* dart:mirrors are not supported yet (implementation of mirrors relies
on reading kernel AST in certain cases).

As the result, lib_2/mirrors/* tests fail.

* native extensions are not supported yet (annotations on libraries
and classes in AST are cleaned up as they could reference members
which are now removed from AST).

As the result, standalone_2/entrypoints_verification_test test fails.

* language_2/spread_collections/const_error_test/* tests fail
  due to https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/36286.

Source URIs for the core libraries in kernel take the form of
`org-dartlang-sdk://'. Previously, we had to do some manual
modifications to the URI stored by script objects which pointed to core
library scripts as they were often replaced with `dart:*` of being an
actual URI. Now that we have resolved_uri() in Script, we can use this
method to get the `org-dartlang-sdk://` URI and avoid the brittle
hacking of URIs.

For example, the resolved URI for the 'dart:io' script is
`org-dartlang-sdk:///sdk/lib/io/io.dart`.

Matthew Dempsky a0e0a7a150 [vm] Delete disallowed constructors/operators
This allows the compiler to emit better errors. It also allows the
compiler to detect when a class accidentally references its own
supposedly disallowed constructors/operators (e.g., see dartutils.cc).

Notably, this exposes a number of private member variables that are
unused, but some that are used only in certain build configurations.
It would arguably be better to only define the variables when they're
needed, but that's deferred to a subsequent CL.
