Martin Kustermann ab6aeaa106 [vm/kernel] Use GC-tracked ExternalTypedData/TypedDataView for kernel buffers
Until now we often leaked kernel buffers (e.g. hot reload buffers) because various
objects were referencing ExternalTypedData objects pointing into the middle of
c-allocated memory. This made it impossible for the GC to determine when the last
reference is gone.

This CL ensures that the actual buffers are *always* made available via
ExternalTypedData and any inner pointers into it are created via TypedDataViews.

The embedder guarantees to the free kernel buffers it has provided to:
    - Dart_CreateIsolateFromKernel
    - Dart_LoadScriptFromKernel
    - Dart_LoadLibraryFromKernel
    - Dart_SetDartLibrarySourcesKernel
on isolate shutdown.

All other kernel buffers will get a finalizer attached, which ensures the
kernel buffers get freed by the GC once they are no longer referenced:
    - Kernel blobs for expression evaluation
    - Kernel blobs for Hot-Reload
    - Kernel blobs for cc tests

Martin Kustermann d3fde891bf [VM] Fix deadlock between mutator and BG compiler
Here's how the deadlock can happen:

  * The vm-service background compiler asks all threads to go to a
    safepoint before it finalizes the code. Then it finalizes the
    code and notifies code observers. A code observer posts a
    message to the vm-service. Posting this message requires holding the
    monitor of the receiving isolate's message handler (see
    MessageHandler::PostMessage).

  * The vm-service mutator holds it's message handlers monitor and
    enters the isolate (see MessageHandler::HandleMessages). The
    StartIsolateScope schedules the mutator thread, which will in return
    see that BG compiler wants to safepoint, so it waits for BG compiler
    to finish.

At this point the mutator holds the MessageHandler's monitor and waits
for BG compiler to finish safepoint. The BG compiler tries to post a
message to the message handler (and the monitor is locked).

-> This CL ensures the BG compiler only arranges a safepoint before it
   starts creating the instructions object. It fills it in and exits the
   safepoint again. Only then do we notify code observers.

Furthermore this CL ensures we transition out of VM to native state
before calling the Dart_PostCMessage() function.

Alexander Markov b10f179608 [vm] Cleanup Dart_Get/Set/HasStickyError API and use isolate's sticky error only as a backup for thread's sticky error
Both thread and isolate have sticky error fields. Dart API was using
isolate's sticky error, while Dart code was using thread's sticky error.
There was a one-way move of a thread's sticky error into isolate
when thread was unscheduled.

This causes a problem as error in the isolate may go unnoticed and
repeated unscheduling/re-scheduling might end up overwriting the error
in the isolate (which triggers the assertion).

To solve this problem, this CL:
* Cleans up Dart API which manipulates isolate's sticky error, so
  isolate's sticky error is never set directly.
* When sceduling an isolate to a thread, sticky error is moved back from
  isolate (if any).

With this changes, thread's sticky error is always used if thread is running,
and isolate's sticky error is only used to hold sticky error while
isolate has no thread.

Alexander Aprelev 7e1aa67855 Restore TLABs.
This reverts https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/commit/e9d358921dddbee84c39c951220d5a844b097bb5 and on top of original change it:
 - switches from FreeList used as a filler to ForwardingCorpse because it is not as strict as to be expected only in old space;
 - gets Verifier to accept ForwardingCorpse(as well as FreeList) in new space;
 - asserts that thread is at safepoint(or is busy with one of GC tasks);
 - has slow-path TryAllocateNewTLAB in scavenger.cc, rather than in .h;
 - uses "inline" space_lock Mutex instead of allocating one on the heap;
 - reverts back to less precise used space calculation to avoid requiring threads to be at a safepoint for calculation;
 - adds HeapIterationScope in two places(heap_test.cc and service.cc) to accommodate newly introduced ASSERTs.

Régis Crelier 1a260925ef [vm] Unify CanonicalType and DeclarationType on 'Class' VM class.
CanonicalType is a leftover method/field from the time classes were keeping
track of their own canonical types and is still used for non-generic classes.
DeclarationType is more general and can be used where CanonicalType is used.
The field canonical_type_ is renamed to declaration_type_ and now caches the
DeclarationType.

Dwayne Slater 713675bd35 Fix viewing generated code in Observatory on Windows
For GCC and Clang, `long` and `unsigned long` are 64-bit on 64-bit platforms and 32-bit on 32-bit platforms, while on Windows they're always 32-bit. To fix this, I've changed `GetIntegerId` and `GetUnsignedIntegerId` to use the `long long` variants of `strtol` and `strtoul` on 64-bit platforms.

Ryan Macnak 7514ce941e [vm] Assert handles are only allocated when the thread is preventing safepoints.
Threads in the native or blocked states don't prevent safepoints, so they may run concurrently with a safepoint operation like GC. It is not safe for handles to be allocated while the GC is visiting them, so these threads must not allocate handles. Assert only threads in the VM or generated states, which prevent safepoints until they check in, may allocate handles. (Generated code does not allocate handles, but leaf runtime entries remain in the generated state.)
