Vyacheslav Egorov ed5bc9c538 [vm] Fix AssertAssignable strengthening sometimes using wrong deopt_id.
For some reason this code used deopt_id from the environment attached
to the AssertAssignable instruction, rather than deopt_id from the
instruction itself.

Under certain conditions this deopt_id is -1 which usually does
not cause any problems because no other code uses it.

Compiler is now changed in a way that only sets Environment::deopt_id_
for outer environments and innermost environment always has deopt_id_ set
to DeoptId::kNone.

This bug manifested itself as a very rare crash on lib_2/convert/chunked_conversion_utf8_test.dart
test on optcounter bot.

This change also converts an assertion that verifies that deoptimization target
always exists into a FATAL to make such crashes more informative.

TEST=runtime/tests/vm/dart/licm_and_assert_strengthening_test.dart

Aart Bik 598515f031 [vm/compiler] Fix another missing incremental DOM update
Rationale:
Very similar to what was recently fixed for true branch,
but this time along the false branch. Also resets the
DOM relation in the call block, since this only dominates
true and false afterwards.

Note:
This fix unblocks the improvements to the graph checker.

Martin Kustermann 06f9a9e354 [VM] Introduce function and osr entrypoints to the VM's IR
Similar to how we treat catch entry instructions, this cl adds new
function and osr entry instructions. The [FunctionEntry] and
[OsrEntry] - just like [CatchBlockEntry] - have now their own initial
definitions. The [GraphEntry] has only initial definitions for
constants.

Explicit phis are inserted for all parameter / special parameter
instructions if necessary.

Future work is:

  a) Minimize parallel moves due to the phis on parameters
  b) Cleanup frame setup: Move it entirely into FunctionEntry/CatchEntry
    (instead of the split version we have now)

This makes explicit downcasts more efficient by re-using the

require unification of _CastError and _TypeError.

Vyacheslav Egorov ff57e4f355 [vm/compiler] Teach compiler to fold load of type_args_len from constant args desc.
This allows optimizer to eliminate redundant code branching on type_args_len
which arises when inlining generic methods.

Start refactoring how loads of native fields are represented: instead of simply
setting a bunch of unrelated attributes introduce NativeFieldDesc structure
that captures attributes of native fields, which don't have representation
as Field objects.

Over the time we should be able to eliminate "raw" LoadField/StoreInstanceField
instructions that just address fields by their offset and use NativeFieldDesc-s
in load forwarding to disambiguate different native fields that happen to
have the same offset.

Martin Kustermann a603635b85 [VM] Decouple frontend from frame layout
So far the frontend (parser, flow graph builder, ssa construction) were
aware of the actual frame layout.

This CL makes the indices we assign to [LocalVariable]s logical
indices, assigning:

  * M parameters the indices      1 ... M
  * N local variables the indices 0 -1 ... -(N-1)

The scope building, flow graph builder and ssa construction operate on
those logical indices.

When emitting actual code, the backend will translate those indices into
actual FP relative indices. This allows us to be more flexible in the
backend which frame layout we choose.

Vyacheslav Egorov 3b86f823d0 [vm/corelib] Remove GrowableArrayMarker hack.
GrowableArrayMarker was a class that implemented int and was used to
enable implementation of default List factory constructor in pure Dart:

  factory List([int length = GROWABLE_ARRAY_MARKER]) {
    return identical(length, GROWABLE_ARRAY_MARKER) ? new _GrowableList<E>(0)
                                                    : new _List<E>(length);
  }

Its existence complicated all kinds of things in the VM and it is finally
time to remove it.

Instead we build List factory body directly in IL.

This CL also provides inlining rule for `new List(n)` case.

* Type flow analysis writes inferred types (which include
  non-nullability and concrete classes) for the results of calls.

Régis Crelier 0c2793b3db [VM runtime] Implement support for _extractTypeArguments in the VM (fixes #31805).
Update status files.

This cl includes implementing these two features on all platforms:
1) Support calling generic functions via DartEntry::InvokeFunction().
2) Support native generic functions. These are currently allowed, but type
   arguments are ignored, and therefore not accessible from the C++ side.

Now that we do eager rehashing of linked hashmaps we no longer have the

This means we can teach the optimizer that loads from the index fied
always result in kTypedDataUint32ArrayCid.

Vyacheslav Egorov 2c97d724df [VM, JIT] Lower CloneContext into AllocateUninitializedContext.
CloneContext is implemented as a runtime call so it is considerably slower
than AllocateContext which leads to performance issues in loops that capture
iteration variables in for loops.

Lowering CloneContext into AllocateUninitializedContext and a sequence of
explicit load&store instructions both improves the performance by avoiding
the runtime call and also makes CloneContext semantics exposed to store-load
forwarding and allocation sinking.

PutIfAbsent benchmark from issue #31113 is improved by 5x, while
ForInGeneratedLoop benchmark is improved by 8x.

Samir Jindel 6b64aa8943 [kernel] Always disable reified generic functions in the Kernel FE.
Currently, we have some tests that run with reified generic functions ON and
some with it OFF. However, this causes inconsistencies when running the Kernel
FE from snapshot in the VM, since the VM requires that the flag be consistent
with the snapshot. Our solution is to turn the reified generic functions flag
into a per-isolate flag, which is always disabled in the Kernel FE's isolate.

Régis Crelier a73e6832fc [VM generic functions] Remove empty_type_arguments singleton.
This empty vector was added in https://codereview.chromium.org/2818273002/
to properly instantiate generic signatures.
Later on, the implementation of HasInstantiatedSignature() was improved in
https://codereview.chromium.org/2965743002/ making the empty vector unnecessary.
However, the implementation of InstantiateFrom() will also need improvement
as noted by the added TODO.
