Martin Kustermann 8e887672f4 [vm/concurrency] First changes for hot-reloading with isolate gropus.
This CL moves the [ProgramReloadContext] from [Isolate] to
[IsolateGroup] - since the program is shared across isolates. Amongst
other things, it also deoptimizes stacks of all isolate mutators.

There is still future work to do for hot-reloading multiple isolates
within a group, this is only the first change.

Issue https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/36097

TEST=Refactoring of existing implementation.

Vyacheslav Egorov 24a30defcc [vm] Ensure liveness of typed data containing Kernel binary
When handling hot reload via library tag handler's Kernel tag
VM must guarantee that external typed data it receives from the
embedder stays alive for as long as VM has any structures
referencing this kernel binary. This is achieved by attaching
original typed data to KernelProgramInfo objects containing
the views into it.

Unfortunately kernel::Reader APIs were somewhat unsafe: allowing
to construct reader object from Program's raw buffer and forget to
set the link betwen the reader and original typed data.

This created a situation where reloading using a multicomponent
Kernel binary would result in KernelProgramInfo objects without
link to the original typed data, which in turn leads to premature
finalization of external typed data and subsequent crashes
when trying to use delete kernel binary.

This CL reworks kernel::Reader API (by introducing kernel::ProgramBinary
wrapper) to make it safer and make sure that connection is preserved.

Alexander Aprelev efa1e18428 [vm/concurrency] Allow class finalization done by background compiler
This CL removes asserts that prevented background compiler from doing class finalization.
It adds program_lock synchronization for when object properties are updated during class finalization.
It also encloses code instructions installation into safepoint scopes to ensure that no code is executed during installation.

Martin Kustermann 1b38b85223 [vm/concurrency] Rename IsolateReloadContext -> ProgramReloadContext
As part of making the compiler and other subsystems independent
of `Isolate` we have to move various state from `Isolate` to
`IsolateGroup` (or to another place).

Part of that is `Isolate::reload_context()`. In order to avoid name
conflict of what a `reload_context()` is, we separate it into
`reload_context()` and `program_reload_context()` where the former
contains GC information and the latter contains information about
changes in program structure.

Martin Kustermann 425780f410 [vm/concurrency] Share program structure and JITed code with --enable-isolate-groups
This removes our temporary scaffolding support for JIT isolate groups
(which was implemented by creating a new isolate group, loading the
application kernel into it and then merging the heap into the original
isolate group - maintaining a different object store)

It makes all isolates within a group share the same object store, same
libraries and JITed code. It will be conservative to start with, only
allow running unoptimized code, etc.

We will gradually remove the restrictions imposed by this CL:

This CL makes it work for Dart_LoadLibraryFromKernel too and allows

If generated code refers to a constant object (which are old and canonical), a pointer
to it will be embedded in the instruction stream on ia32.

If we now reload and morph this constant object and allocate the
morph'ed copy in new space, the become operation will make RX writable
and the slot in the instruction stream gets updated to point to a new
space object and the code gets added to the remembered set.

The next scavenge operation will scan the remembered set as roots, see
the poitner to a new object, move the object and updates the pointer in
the instruction stream.
  => We hit a SEGV trying to write the RX memory

We can avoid this problem by ensuring to morph old+canonical instances
always into old space on ia32.

Ryan Macnak f4e44dd705 [vm] Make kernel buffers live exactly as long as their derived views.
When creating a KernelProgramInfo, we create several logical views into the kernel buffer. These are fresh ExternalTypedDatas, rather than proper TypedDataViews, so they do not automically keep the original ExternalTypedData alive. Create an explicit reference to the orginal ExternalTypedData in the KernelProgramInfo. When creating snapshots, this reference is ignored/null'd and the views are turned into copies, effectively dropping the parts of the original buffer that do not have views.

Fixes a leak with reload and a use-after-free with eval.

Martin Kustermann aceeba7567 [vm/async] Encode the yield index -> token position in PcDescriptors.
Right now `Script::yield_positions()` is an array mapping function start
token positions to arrays. Those arrays contain token positions and are
indexed by yield index.
  => This `Script::yield_positions()` is not available in AOT mode.

The fast async stack implementation will need to be able to find out
where an async closure was suspended. It does so by looking at the
":await_jump_var", which contains the yield index. It then needs to
associate the yield index to token position of the yield.

This CL adds an entry into the PcDescriptors for every yield in a
async/async* function and removes `Script::yield_positions()`.
The entry will associate the yield index with the token position.

Martin Kustermann 20962e656b [vm/concurrency] Split up IsolateReloadContext into IsolateReloadContext/IsolateGroupReloadContext
Similar to the split of ClassTable into ClassTable/SharedClassTable,
this CL splits up the IsolateReloadContext into:

  * IsolateGroupReloadContext: Consists of reload-related information across all
    isolates. The [Reload()] method is split up in phases that are
    performed on all isolates before the next phase is started.

    => This allows each isolate to add reasons for rolling back, if no
       reasons are found the reload will be accepted atomically.

  * IsolateReloadContext: Constists of reload-related information for a
    particular isolate (e.g. mappings of old to new classes)

The assumption is that all isolates have the same source (and therefore
the same libraries). For certain things, e.g. discovering which libraries
changed, it is necessary to examine the object store. We use the first
isolate in a group (but could use any of them) to do so, since the
isolate group does not have this information atm.

This is a preparation CL for supporting hot-reloading multiple isolates
within one isolate group. Though the support in this CL stays at having
only a single isolate in a group.

  => This CL turns off FLAG_enable_isolate_groups in JIT mode.

Alexander Aprelev 0425997b31 Second attempt to reland "[vm/concurrency] Introduce concept of Isolate Groups"
This reverts commit 3d14b75f97.

An Isolate Group (IG) is a collection of isolates which were spawned from the
same source. This allows the VM to:

  * have a guarantee that all isolates within one IG can safely exchange
    structured objects (currently we rely on embedder for this
    guarantee)

  * hot-reload all isolates together (currently we only reload one
    isolate, leaving same-source isolates in inconsistent state)

  * make a shared heap for all isolates from the same IG, which paves
    the way for faster communication and sharing of immutable objects.

All isolates within one IG will share the same IsolateGroupSource.

**Embedder changes**

This change makes breaking embedder API changes to support this new
concept of Isolate Groups: The existing isolate lifecycle callbacks
given to Dart_Initialize will become Isolate Group lifecycle callbacks.
A new callback `initialize_isolate` callback will be added which can
initialize a new isolate within an existing IG.

Existing embedders can be updated by performing the following renames

  Dart_CreateIsolate -> Dart_CreateIsolateGroup
  Dart_IsolateCreateCallback -> Dart_IsolateGroupCreateCallback
  Dart_IsolateCleanupCallback -> Dart_IsolateGroupShutdownCallback
  Dart_CreateIsolateFromKernel -> Dart_CreateIsolateGroupFromKernel
  Dart_CurrentIsolateData -> Dart_CurrentIsolateGroupData
  Dart_IsolateData -> Dart_IsolateGroupData
  Dart_GetNativeIsolateData -> Dart_GetNativeIsolateGroupData
  Dart_InitializeParams.create -> Dart_InitializeParams.create_group
  Dart_InitializeParams.cleanup -> Dart_InitializeParams.shutdown_group
  Dart_InitializeParams.shutdown -> Dart_InitializeParams.shutdown_isolate

By default `Isolate.spawn` will cause the creation of a new IG.

Though an embedder can opt-into supporting multiple isolates within one IG by
providing a callback to the newly added `Dart_InitializeParams.initialize_isolate`.
The responsibility of this new callback is to initialize an existing
isolate (which was setup by re-using source code from the spawning
isolate - i.e. the one which used `Isolate.spawn`) by setting native
resolvers, initializing global state, etc.

Martin Kustermann ab6aeaa106 [vm/kernel] Use GC-tracked ExternalTypedData/TypedDataView for kernel buffers
Until now we often leaked kernel buffers (e.g. hot reload buffers) because various
objects were referencing ExternalTypedData objects pointing into the middle of
c-allocated memory. This made it impossible for the GC to determine when the last
reference is gone.

This CL ensures that the actual buffers are *always* made available via
ExternalTypedData and any inner pointers into it are created via TypedDataViews.

The embedder guarantees to the free kernel buffers it has provided to:
    - Dart_CreateIsolateFromKernel
    - Dart_LoadScriptFromKernel
    - Dart_LoadLibraryFromKernel
    - Dart_SetDartLibrarySourcesKernel
on isolate shutdown.

All other kernel buffers will get a finalizer attached, which ensures the
kernel buffers get freed by the GC once they are no longer referenced:
    - Kernel blobs for expression evaluation
    - Kernel blobs for Hot-Reload
    - Kernel blobs for cc tests
