Konstantin Shcheglov 3d67e6f998 Migrate _fe_analyzer_shared to null safety.
Some notes.

1. `Token.next` is `Token?` because there are null(s) for comment tokens.
But I think that it is never `null` in code, because there is at
least EOF token. So, lots of `!` null checks.

2. `Link.tail` is never null when `isNotEmpty`, but the type system
cannot express it. So, some number of `!` null checks.

3. I keep assert(s) for now, and use comment
  `// ignore: unnecessary_null_comparison`.

4. I disabled `can_get_rid_of_nnbd_issue_error`, I think it fails
because of changes in `_fe_analyzer_shared` language version.

Smoke test in google3 looks green.

I have not tried yet Golem, or looked at benchmarks.

Previously, if editing messages.yaml and making a mistake one could
end up with empty "codes_generated.dart" and
"fasta_codes_cfe_generated.dart" meaning that nothing could compile
before doing a `git checkout <file>` on it.

Now instead generate-messages will just not do that.

Jens Johansen 6d7c92f016 [CFE] Add "strong" tests of the constant evaluator
This increases our "local" coverage of the constant evaluator.
Run with something like
`pkg/front_end/test/fasta/strong_tester.dart -DupdateExpectations=true -DstressConstantEvaluator=true -DskipVm=true`
there is now almost coverage of everything (or a comment in the code
suggests that the path is probably unreachable).

Note that
`out/ReleaseX64/dart pkg/front_end/test/vm_service_coverage_constant_evaluator.dart pkg/front_end/test/fasta/strong_tester.dart -DupdateExpectations=true -DstressConstantEvaluator=true -DskipVm=true`
has erroneous misses, for instance (but not limited to) asserts.
These are caused by errors in the VM.

A follow-up CL will be created to turn on "stressConstantEvaluator" by
default and print out any sucesses in the expect files.

This CL changes the message template generator to add an extra
'isNonNullableByDefault' parameter to 'withArguments' for all
messages that include types, thus forcing the reporter to specify
whether the library that the message belongs to is opted in to NNBD.

When the message is formatted, a '?' is added to all nullable types
if the message is reported for an opt-in library.

Aske Simon Christensen c959bd98af Print origins of types in bullet points below error messages.
This gets rid of the useless '#lib1::' prefixes on types in error
messages and instead adds a line to the error message for each
interface type appearing in the message stating where that type
originates.

Name clashes are disambiguated by appending markers like '/*1*/' and
'/*2*/' to the types whenever two interface types with the same name
appear in the same message.

The commonly used core types 'bool', 'num', 'int', 'double', 'String'
and 'Null' are excluded from the origin list unless they take part in a
name clash.

Each fasta error code in messages.yaml that has an "index:" field

now has an Analyzer error code automatically generated
with the information in messages.yaml. In addition
a list of all indexed errors is generated so that a fasta error
code can be quickly translated into an Analyzer error code.

Aske Simon Christensen 0c03458717 Reland "Treat most warnings as errors in strong mode."
Reland of https://dart-review.googlesource.com/c/sdk/+/29160

Adds a 'severity' field to diagnostic messages and replaces all
addWarning and addNit functions by a generic addProblem, which uses
the intrinsic severity of the message. Eventually, errors should
also be reported this way.

A special severity value maps into either warning or error for Dart 1
and Dart 2, respectively. Most Dart 1 warnings are in this category.

Fixes some 320 failures of DDK test expecting a compile-time error.
These were previously masked by a workaround in the DDC error handler
which has now been removed.

Closes https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/31286

Aske Simon Christensen 3303df8102 Treat most warnings as errors in strong mode.

Ryan Macnak a646f51a5b Revert "Route all messages through Loader."
This reverts commit 8e4b0bda23.

Reason for revert: Failures on most kernel bots

Original change's description:

> This ensures that all messages are passed to instrumentation.
>
> Issues addressed in this CL:
>
> * When I added addCompileTimeError, I forgot to remove addError.
>
> * All messages now all arrive in a single location (Loader). SourceLoader adds instrumentation by overriding recordMessage.
>
> * As I changed the type inferrer to use addCompileTimeError, I broke DDC. This is because the front_end API (generateKernelInternal in kernel_generator_impl.dart) returns null if there are any errors reported via addCompileTimeError (and this didn't happen with addError, that shouldn't have been there anyways).
>
> * Due to the previous problem, I changed generateKernelInternal to ignore errors, but then I started getting missing compile-time errors. This turned out to be due to the the silent parameter used during outline- and diet-parsing.
>
> * I've removed all the "silent" parameters. This didn't work reliably and have been confusing Brian, Dan, and me several times when making parser changes. Instead we detect duplicated messages and avoid reporting them more than once.

This meant that the #lib prefix would vary depending on how many tests were run which affected the serialized error message in pkg/front_end/testcases/invalid_assignment.dart.strong.expect.

Peter von der Ahé 8e4b0bda23 Route all messages through Loader.

* Types in error messages got names that where using a global object (globalDebuggingNames in pkg/kernel/lib/text/ast_to_text.dart). This meant that the #lib prefix would vary depending on how many tests were run which affected the serialized error message in pkg/front_end/testcases/invalid_assignment.dart.strong.expect.
