Alexander Markov 9e8e8e5fca [vm,dynamic_modules] Support members which are overridden implictly (transitively) by a dynamic module
Consider the following situation: member M1 is overridden by another
member M2; M2 is overridden in a dynamic module.

Members which can be overridden in a dynamic module (such as M2)
should be specified as 'can-be-overridden' in the dynamic interface.
Members which are overridden implicitly/transitively (such as M1)
are not required to be mentioned in the dynamic interface.
However, when determining possible targets for a call with
interface target M1, compiler should treat it as potentially
overridden in a dynamic module.

This change adds such handling to the VM/AOT. Dynamic interface
annotator now marks members such as M1 with
'dyn-module:can-be-overridden-implicitly' pragma, and
VM/AOT takes both can-be-overridden and can-be-overridden-implicitly
into account.

This change also simplifies handling of implicitly extenable classes
in the VM/AOT - now VM handles both extendable and implicitly-extendable
pragmas (from dynamic interface annotator) instead of recalculating
implicitly extendable classes on its own.

Vyacheslav Egorov 4d57de82e2 [vm/reload] Update is_implemented after reload
When doing fine grained invalidation and reload we might end up losing
`is_implemented` bit and some other class-hierarchy related bits
on a class if we only reload the library where class is declared
but not transitive closure which depends on that library.

Consider:

    library a;
    class A {}

    library b;
    class B implements A {}

If we do a change to library `a` which does not impact the outline
then we do not need to reload `b`. This will cause class A to
be replaced with a new `Class` object in the class table - and lead
to us losing various CHA related bits.

This CL update ProgramReloadContext::RebuildDirectSubclasses to
handle this correctly, we also rename it to
RestoreClassHierarchyInvariants and make it share implementation
with ClassFinalizer (which contained almost identical function).

Alexander Markov 6f4bed30cc [vm] Fix CompileType::CanBeFuture()
In certain cases compiler can omit a type check in 'await e' if it can
prove that expression 'e' cannot be evaluated to Future.

Previously, if actual type of 'e' is unknown, CompileType::CanBeFuture()
tested if static type of 'e' is a subtype of Future.

This is not correct, as static type could have a subtype which is also
a subtype of Future, but static type itself is not a subtype of Future:

class A {}
class B implements A, Future<A> {}

A e = confuse(B()); // 'e' is B, but has a static type A.
await e; // A is not a subtype of Future, but 'e' is Future
                    // and should be awaited.

Alexander Markov 8d0677eca5 [vm] Simplify type finalization
After recursive types are gone, finalization of types can be
simplified: types can be finalized with a simple recursive traversal
and they no longer need to track "being finalized" state.

Also, finalization doesn't need to write back finalized types
because type finalization without canonicalization is always performed
in place and doesn't result in a new type (or type arguments vector).

Alexander Markov 135443706b [vm] Avoid expanding/flattening type arguments vectors in Type objects
Previously, vectors of type arguments were expanded to include type
arguments corresponding to superclasses both in the instances of
generic classes and in Type objects (after type finalization).
As a result, Type objects after finalization could be recursive and
need to use extra TypeRef objects to break loops. The finalization of
types was very complex and sometimes slow.

This change simplifies the representation of Type objects: now they
always have short type argument vectors, corresponding only to
the type parameters of their own classes (both before and after
finalization). Vectors of type arguments in the instances of generic
classes are still expanded/flattened.

This greatly simplifies type finalization, makes Type objects
non-recursive and removes the need to create and handle excessive
TypeRefs for type arguments corresponding to superclasses,
as those type arguments are no longer included into types.
The only remaining use of TypeRefs is for bounds of type parameters.

In order to expand/flatten type arguments, new methods Type::GetInstanceTypeArguments / Class::GetInstanceTypeArguments
are introduced. They build canonical declaration type arguments
once (for each class), and then instantiate them as needed.

There are also simple helper methods to shrink type arguments (TypeArguments::FromInstanceTypeArguments) and expand type arguments without filling type arguments corresponding to superclasses (TypeArguments::ToInstantiatorTypeArguments).

Time of edge case 'regress_51960_test' 15min -> 300ms.

Martin Kustermann dae308461c [vm/concurrency] Share [Heap] and [SharedClassTable] between all isolates within one isolate group
This CL:

  * Moves [Heap]/[SharedClassTable] from [Isolate] to [IsolateGroup], which
    will make all isolates in the group use the same heap. The GC will use
    the shared class table for object size information.

  * Adds support for entering/leaving an isolate group as a helper thread
    (e.g. via [Thread::EnterIsolateGroupAsHelper]). The current active
    isolate group can be accessed via TLS `IsolateGroup::Current()` or
    `Thread::isolate_group_`. When entering as a helper thread there will be
    no current isolate.

  * Changes the GC to use the above mechanism and ensures GC works without
    a currently active isolate. The GC will use information purely available via
    [IsolateGroup]. The GC will iterate all isolates within an isolate
    group e.g. for scanning roots.

  * Makes spawning of new isolates start in their own isolate group.
    Once the isolate is fully functional it's heap will be merged into
    the original isolate group

  * Moves ApiState, containing persistent and weak persistent handles,
    from [Isolate] to [IsolateGroup], plus adds appropriate locking.

Alexander Markov da8cb470cc [vm/bytecode] Represent classes, libraries, scripts and recursive types in bytecode
Size of a large application:
Before: 26628600
After: 21480120 (-19.3%)

Size of snapshots:

isolate_snapshot_framework.bin
Before: 9322496
After: 6782976 (-27.2%)

isolate_snapshot_product_framework.bin
Before: 9166848
After: 6602752 (-27.9%)

Regressions in tests:

1) Test language_2/type_alias_equality_test/04 fails similarly to default mode, as VM
does not implement comparison of function types according to the specification.
Previously this test was passing as function types were canonicalized in bytecode,
which was not always correct. This CL fixes the problem with canonicalization of
function types in bytecode and the test starts failing again.

2) Tests standalone_2/entrypoints_verification_test, standalone_2/io/test_extension_test,
standalone_2/io/test_extension_fail_test fail as native extensions are not supported
in bytecode yet. These tests start passing after df5e7aac17,
which switched bytecode tests to kernel service (on x64), because kernel service doesn't
drop ASTs. This CL switches from reading AST library declarations to bytecode even if
AST is not removed, so tests fail again.

Martin Kustermann f205292227 [VM] Bare instructions - Part 4: Add --use-bare-instructions flag to AOT compiler & runtime
This is the final CL which adds a new --use-bare-instructions flag to
the VM.

If this flag is set during AOT compilation, we will:

  * Build one global object pool (abbr: GOP) which all code objects
    share. This gop will be stored in the object store. The PP register
    is populated in the enter dart stub and it is restored when
    returning from native calls.

  * Gets rid of the CODE_REG/PP slots from the dart frames. Instead the
    compiled code uses the global object pool, which is always in PP.

  * Starts emitting pc-relative calls for calls between two dart
    functions or when invoking a stub.
    Limitation: We only emit pc-relative calls between two code objects
    in the same isolate (this is because the image writer is writing
    instruction objects for vm-isolate/main-isolate seperately)

  * We do compile-time relocation of those static calls after the
    precompiler has finished its work, but before writing the snapshot.
    This patches all the instruction objects with pc-relative calls to
    have the right .text distance.

  * We emit a sorted list of code objects in ObjectStore::reverse_code_table,
    which will be used by the AOT runtime to go back from PC to Code
    objects (where all metadata, e.g. stack maps, catch entry moves, pc
    descriptors are available).
